This is pure speculation but from the large number of times I have crashed a system by updating it always seem to some how involve KDE. Apparently if KDE is not involved I can recover. If certain core KDE files and libraries are involved I have a total system crash. Actually I believe that this should say if any basic KDE files or libraries are involved not just certain but then I have not had enough crashes yet to ascertain if that does or does not include graphic and additional KDE files. Apparently if one does not use or have KDE installed then this is not a issue. SOTL ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
