take 1 € coin and cast it up - or what?
I think you are missing some point or other. You can use lilo with SUSE
and Mandriva and the same applies to grub. It really doesn't matter
which one you use - they both work fine.
As for deciding which system to use as the "master", I suppose tossing a
coin is as good a method of choosing as any.
