Sorry to hear of all the negative experiences recently. I still enjoy
the
'cut and thrust' of Mandriva and for my purposes and hardware, it works
(almost) flawlessly.
To my question.....I have been running 2006 for a few months and all is
well.
I managed to get my Broadcom wireless card working and everything.
I installed 'Neverball' from the article in the latest Tux magazine but
it
runs excruciatingly slowly. My machine is an Inspiron 9100 with a Radeon
M9600. It should be able to handle this game.
Does someone have a similar setup? If so, how can I tell if I have the
proper
drivers setup? Is there a package or packages that I can urpmi to get better
video performance?
