Hi,

here I am again.
When I run Gimp (2.2 as loaded on Mandriva 2006) and I want to open a
new image (not yet loaded in gimp before) the open dialog says it is
generating a preview and the CPU goes wild (97+% load).

I have to kill Gimp and then kill a set of processes called
"ufraw-gimp".
I have never seen this silly and annoying behaviour again. Can someone
tell me how to fix this? I removed ~/.gimp-2.2 and set it up again, but
that does not change anything.

Paul
