Greetings
Has anyone actually managed to get one of these things to work? I have
installed Mandriva 2006.0 on a Thinkpad Z60m, and everything works fine,
except for this internal Conexant HSF modem.
I hate winmodems generally, and the only time I ever got one of the things to
work was with the commercial driver from Linuxant and Mandrake 10.1 or 9.2, I
can't remember.
Does anyone know where I can find some newbie type step-by-step instructions
on installing one of these things? I really don't want to lose control and
head-butt my shiny new laptop... ;-(
