Cooker has 3.0.4 you could rebuild the src rpm if you liked, but personally I do not see the point. Just because 3.0.4 is out does not mean that 2.4 no longer works. If there was a security vulnerability with 2.4 there would be an update. If there was some new feature in 3.0.4 you wanted to use, then there would a point in upgrading. If you do upgrade you had better read the release notes.
