An Update. Sorted the skipping problem. In conjunction with my mentor
I changed the playing from direct digital to IDE and the r/w
drive played the cd's fine but the dvd player still skipped so
I've changed the drives so that the r/w will play cd's
digitally. All is well in that department now. Thanks for you
input guys.
Now to get audacity sorted.
