My Mandriva 2006 works well with my old IBM CRT monitor. But it is too large, I do not have space on my table I needed. So I thought to change to a modern 19" panel display.
Can I simply cast the old monitor away and connect the panel, as I could do in the WindowsXP, or is something else needed in Linux? The display card is ATI 9100 128Mb.
