Please, keep the name Newbie so there would be a place everybody dares to send even stupid questions without getting the answer "use Google" or "look at the manual" (which you do not either have or could not find easily). I would also appreciate if questions like "Has anybody installed a new version of Qt4.x" were sent to a list of experts. It takes a lot of time for me to survey through all the post in this list and to understand, what the topic is dealing with. Yes, I used Google and got the impression that Qt4.x has something to do with software development. Most people would also help others a lot if they would not copy to their messages all of the previous discussion, but only the relevant lines.
