A good question, Rosemary. Between Mandriva Main, Contrib and PLF
repositories, there is very little that is not available. I suppose the
latest version of the kernel sources would be an example. At one time the
version of xv that had PNG support built-in wasn't in the Contrib or PLF
repositories, so I had to compile it.
LOL! Given time I'm sure I could come up with a few more examples.
