On Mon, 27 Feb 2006 01:31:52 +0000 Peter Watson got an infinite number of monkeys to type out:
> Did you remember to save the configuration when you ran as root? Also I had > to save my configuration the first time I ran as non-root, then it worked fine Duh, I didn't see the 'save config' button, I'm such a dolt. Funny thing, I haven't tried using the drive yet, but it's an LG combo CD and DVD writer (ya, I know, but the Plextor was 70 bucks more!), and it shows up twice in the xcdroast scan, one on ATA:1,0,0 and another on ATAPI:0,0,0. For one thing, I thought the old device designations like '0,0,0' were out the window...I need Tom Brinkman's .bashrc, LOL! Anyhow, we'll see how it goes when I burn my 1st DVD.
