Coupla questions about the howto.
My xorg.conf shows this:
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "monitor1"
VendorName "Samsung"
ModelName "Samsung SyncMaster 955df"
HorizSync 30-85
VertRefresh 50-160
ModeLine "768x576" 50.0 768 832 846 1000 576 590 595 630
ModeLine "768x576" 63.1 768 800 960 1024 576 578 590 616
EndSection
The manual says the recommended refresh rate is 85 Hz, it says nothing that
would tell me what to set for HorizSync. Do I just replace 'VertRefresh 50-160'
with VertRefresh 85?
Also, when I run:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ gtf 1280 960 60
I get:
# 1280x960 @ 60.00 Hz (GTF) hsync: 59.64 kHz; pclk: 102.10 MHz
Modeline "1280x960_60.00" 102.10 1280 1360 1496 1712 960 961 964 994
-HSync +Vsync
Do I include the -HSync and +Vsync in the Modeline?
I don't want to fuxor the only monitor I have right now, but maybe this will
help with the blurriness I'm experiencing.
Thanks Bryan!
