A guy here overhere in my town used (a year or 2 back) to make a weekly parody of "Star Trek" and difused them over the net (and on CD's) using wmv's. He's an an avid mac-user .... go figure! :-p Putting all those sequels together as chapters was worth a try, as the man himself wasn't interested any more. He'd moved on to another project in the mean time. Haven't got round to authoring the DVD yet but I was planning to use "dvdauthor" for that. Optionally you've got "dvdwizard" as a command as well ..... very nice! So frankly I haven't gotten further than a bunch of mpg's in a directory. ;-) I use "tovid" to re-encode stuff I've recorded using my "dreambox" (a satelite reciever running Linux) with a .ts extension. Mplayer plays the .ts stuff fine (doesn't even read the extension, in fact) but that left windows users in the cold. So if I give/lend someone a copy I run it through "tovid" thus for example: "tovid -pal -half-dvd arte\ -\ Invisible\ -\ Illegal\ in\ Europa.ts.002 Illegal-in-Europa-2" which gives me a fine output -- Good Luck, HarM ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
