Not sure if the OSD menu can come up when it's not connected to a comp. Mine displays a short messag along the lines of "no incoming signal" and goes to sleep with a blinking orange led instead of green. > > I'll exchange it, try the generic FP setup and see how it goes. The screen should tell you what it's setting is when it's wrongly connected ...... take those generic settings. BTW: got some other comp to check your monitors with (the FP and the old one)?
