After a motherboard failure I had to reinstall Mandriva. As in past installations I have run into problems updating. I have a very slow Internet connection and usually do the updates where I can let the downloads take all night.
The problem is I soon run into "defective packages: i.e.
"The following packages had bad signatures:
Cups-1.123-11.102mdk.i586.rpm: Missing signature (couldn't open file).

This failure occurs on many mirrors. Some of which claim they are "official' sites.
Why can't Mandriva host a mirror where all of the update packages are valid?
Or is there such a site?
Or am I doing something wrong/
Owen
