Head over to easyurpmi.zarb.org and add the plf free and plf non-free
urpmi repositories. Also make sure you have the contribs repository
added too.
Then install the plf version of mplayer, the plf mplayer plug-in if you
need it, and the plf win32 codecs.
That should take care of Mplayer.
You might also want to install the vlc player and any plugins you are
interested in, also use the plf versions.
Xine faad and xine win32 (both from plf) are also good packages to
install if you have the Xine player installed (and perhaps it's
Kafffeine front-end.)
