I am running a mandriva box on a work Windows 2000 network w/ AD. I have no
administrator rights anywhere on the network. As it now stands, I have to
enter my network username and password to get to network services, but I
gather that something like ldap should allow me to login once when I boot and
then have unencumbered access. I got lost in the mass of documentation that
I've found for openldap.
Shouldn't I be able to just modify a slapd.conf file somewhere and be set to
go? Does someone have such a file? What about an ldap for dummies?
TIA
Paul
