With most Linux Distributions I add the Hostname to the Entry for the actual
IP Address Entry rather than the localhost Entry (127.0.0.1), although with
Mandriva I find this "breaks" the Networking since it fails to start on at
Boot Time... Mandriva seems much "happier" with its Hostname back on the
localhost (127.0.0.1) Entry!!! If that is the case should I even have an
Entry in /etc/hosts for the Workstation's IP Address and if so what Hostname
should it have???
Appears this may NOT have been an issue about how the Hostname appeared
within /etc/hosts, since I started having problems with the "original"
127.0.0.1 Entry as well... I have now removed the "Network Hotplugging"
Option since this is NOT a Laptop, will see if that the Network Interface
starts on future reboots???
