> Try a reboot, No way, man, I'm leavin' it like it is...*working*...until I know I have some way to return to the original settings (or the power goes out :-0). Does alsaconf change any other config files than /etc/modprobe.conf? > I will keep my fingers crossed for you ; _). Was it an audio cd you were > trying to listen to or in game sound? Well, I wasn't getting audio from CD's, even though I could play .avi's or DVD's with sound no problem from the drive. Personally, I don't listen to audio CD's on my machine, so I could care less really. Just want things back the way they were before I *once fscking again* forgot 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. Sheesh. I need a beer. -- JoeHill / RLU #282046 / www.freeyourmachine.org +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "Where the state begins, individual liberty ceases, and vice versa." -- Bakunin ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
