Try changing the 'iso9660' to 'auto'. This is what it says in my fstab:
/dev/hdc /mnt/cdrom auto
umask=0,user,iocharset=iso8859-1,codepage=850,noauto,ro,exec,users 0 0

Thank you it is working,
I just changed cdrom iso9660 to auto.
What I don't understand is how this is not standart in Mandriva because
I never opend this file... Strange!
