There is also mention elsewhere it may only do up to 2400dpi and not the full 4800dpi (http://www.avasys.jp/cgi-bin/lx/bbs/en/scanner-bbs/hyperbbs.cgi?mode=view;Code=313), but that may be no great loss, or may be fixed by now. So make sure you installl ALL the rpms, and it's only supported on 32bit machines, if you have an AMD64 you're out of luck. Cheers!
