I'm a bit out of touch with this.
Basically, I'm using kernel 2.6.16.11 and have source installed. (
Compiled this kernel from source initially to update my Mandriva10.2 OS )
I am trying to get AVG for Linux Workstation installed and one of the
requirements is that DAZUKO be installed first. ( Trying version 2.2.1 )
My attempts with Dazuko result in a " error: security module support
must be enabled in your kernel "
I then went into the kernel source directory and issued :
# make menuconfig
to ensure that the autoconf.h file was up to date.
That alone did not cure things so:
Opened menuconfig again and tried to enable anything 'security' and
'module' loading I could find, but obviously I'm not on the right track
here.
I am working under the assumption that I need only " Enable security
module support".
Any suggestions, pointers anyone ?
