Dennis Duffner got an infinite number of monkeys to type out:

Maybe says somethin' about Ubuntu ;-)

Listen. A week ago, my machine just started spontaneously rebooting when I
tried to play Doom3. The HD started whining just above the level of the human
auditory range (I can only imagine what the dogs in the neighbourhood went
through). I freak (it's a new system), and run it back to the tech. He runs test
after test after test. No problem. I bring it back, hook it back up, a week
later now and no issues whatsoever. Not a glitch. Doom3 runs through
*timedemo's* smooth as silk, and I'm reencoding an AVI to NTSC/DVD as we speak.

As soon as I post this, my machine will surely melt. Whatever.

There are literally several levels of SCO being wrong. And even if we were to
live in that alternate universe where SCO would be right, they'd still be
wrong. -- Linus Torvalds
