Yes, I did: tried different port (currently 49200), made
sure it's open for both tcp and udp, tested online and
49200 (or the other I tried) where "open"; but no changes...

Well, I did and tried it all; as far as I know, looking on
thread I found using Goggle, I'm not the only one hitted by
this kind of problem; what let me perplexed is all worked
out with no configurations at all (apart telling
drakconnect to allow bittorrent)! 
By the way, I tried firewall configuration with
drakfirewall, firestarter and even iptables manually...
