I was trying to install Mandriva Linux Free 2006 to a PC that was previously running Mandrake Linux 10.1. I was proceeding through the install and decided to re-format my root partition to install Mandriva. When it came time to present me with a list of packages to install, I got the error message: "No hdlists". I tried twice, and got the same message twice.
I looked at the contents of the CD-ROM, and I found hdlists in the /media/media-info directory. This was #1 of 3 CD-ROM's I downloaded as iso's and burned to CD's. Is there any way around this problem besides re-burning another CD in hopes that it will work?
Thanks,
Scott
