You have set the brain ticking......

Had a look at Configure Kmail>Composer>Charset and I'm seeing the following 
listed: us-ascii, ISO-8859-1, ISO-8859-1 (locale), and UTF-8.

My locale is set to English (British).

Could I delete 3 out of those 4 charsets, leaving me with the one I treally 
need?

but which one would I need to keep? I'm hazarding a guess at ISO-8859-1 
(locale)...

Please advise!
