My gb's are a shambles again.

I have a new 300gb drive working now and would like to be
able to, for instance, take all of my .ogg's and .mp3's,
identify duplicates, and copy one iteration of each file
to the new drive. It would be nice if it listened to
each with my ears and picked the best copy. :)

Apparently, over the years I backed up the music every
time I thought of it. (Don't want to lose that song, ya
know.) <sigh>

Just looking for suggestions.

TIA

Hey Lee,

The way I see it, you have few options;

1) If you have time to spare, listen to each copy of each file and keep
the best one and we'll see you in 6 months,

2) Hire some one to do it for you and hope their ears are as good as
   yours,

3) Take a guess at which one is the best and keep that one.

4) There's always the Psychic Hotline?

5) Scrap them all and start all over from scratch?

6) Just keep all the copies and tell yourself this is why you bought a
   300GB hard drive?

OK, You never said you wanted useful suggestions! Grin!

Sorry I don't have any useful ideas and it's Monday so my common sense isn't running yet.
