I have been using firefox 2.0b1 for a while now. I came across a site
requiring the java plugin and I have been trying to get it to work. I have
installed all my plugins from firefox 1.5 into the 2.0 plugin directory but
it crashes beta2.0b1.
Has anyone come across this problem?

theres a possibility that the plug ins from firefox 1.5 may be causing an error with firefox 2.0...
Recomendations:
-Report this bug to firefox
-download AND install the plugins for FIREFOX 2.0B ONLY
