Thanks, I had been to these pages, and tried again to see how far along
I get.
I think part of my problem may be just how many times I have upgraded
the OS without formating the drives at all.
I am running kernel 2.6.12-23.uc2mdksmp, mdv 2006
as I don't know for sure if hotplug is installed as it does not show up
as a service, but there is no more hotplug anything I can install (and I
have all the sources defined, I am pretty sure) I am not sure where to
put the firmware files, since I don't find a file named "firmware.agent"
on my system.
