I just bought a USB mouse to hook to my Acer Aspire 3002LCI laptop. When I
booted in WinXP it didn't work and I got all kinds of hassle about needing
drivers. Since Acer didn't provide a WinXP install disk -- just a Restore
disk -- I had to get them off the internet with all sorts of warning that
they might not be genuine.
When I booted in Mandriva 2006, it just worked.
