As a bookkeeping follow up, the .mdf image loaded and burned via K3B
just fine using the "burn ISO image function" ... remember though that
the image was ISO9660 compliant (not sure if others would or wouldn't
be).
Also not sure if you need to have installed the mdf2iso program first
or not, as a decoder.
