Does anyone know what I need to download/urpmi to see Windows
Media Player 9 files and where I need to put the files?

If mplayer doesn't play any given video format, nothing
will. Set up free and non-free PLF urpmi sources, then as
root,

# urpmi --auto mplayer mplayer-gui mplayerplugin
# urpmi -a codecs

This will install MPlayer (GUI and commandline versions), its
plugin for Firefox and Konq, their dependencies, and all the
codecs.
