I have run into the same thing. I also have revereted back to 2.10 as most of the applets and a couple of other things seem to fail in the bundle 2.12. I noticed that in the main kiosk section they removed the 2.12 bundle, and only left the right menu for the link. Gnome.org shows they are on 2.15 and moving to 2.16 and most operating systems are coming default with 2.12 or 2.14 (openSUSE etc), so maybe they are updating the bundles.
I will be honest, I only use the drivers bundle and then install everything else individual with urpmi or the MCC install feature. If you have tried to get the bundle, go into MCC and chaeck it as a package for update, and do the update. Then uncheck it from available and update then go into the available software. Search on gnome-desktop (or 2.12) and you will get all the gnome packages and you can avoid having to install yelp, epiphany, ekiga (unless you want them).
I would wait for Mnadriva to update to the 2.14 or 2.16 and not bother with the compwiz right now (unless you are a true linux geek and can resolve X.org problems yourself).

(except top shows gurpmi2 running). I've successfully installed other bundles, but not the
