Anybody want a new Netopia router? Free BellSouth gave it to me. I plugged it in to the lan and it promptly took over the dhcp server from my smc router.
I couldn't find an option to turn off the server, but figured it was a test, after all. I plugged in my laptop with a linksys wireless card and had other probs, so I unplugged the wireless and plugged in a wire to the smc. First trip to google on the lt and the Netopia (I assume) caused a redirect to a BellSouth signin page. I unplugged the Netopia and filed it in the trash can, but if anyone wants it......................
