Thanks for your advice, Miark. I appreciate it. I usually find that I 
need the nvidia driver for my video card and monitor, in order that 
the picture is correctly centred. That's why I mentioned it.  

To the others who are having video trouble. I have got Mandriva One 
(not the 'free' version) 2007 rc2 on my spare hard drive and have had 
no problems with video on my 15" 1024x748 75Hz LCD monitor. It looks 
great and the resolution looks correct.

Ubuntu have just brought out an new version, specially for cows to 
use. It's called MUbuntu.
