I was even able to route the fax to the server, but it was rejected for a password. Not suprised, because there is nothing set up on the server to let another machine in to the fax program. I'll pursue adding the fax as a cups printer as suggested elsewhere, but I would appreciate comments from anyone having a clue (or a working system of any sort).
