As you say, it looks like it originates in Brazil. So we can't very
well go round and sort them out then? :-)
I can vaguely remember a novelty song from the early 60's called
"There's an awful lot of coffee in Brazil". But I understand that the
Brazilians grow the robusta bean which is an inferior type (as opposed
to the arabica bean) mainly used in the cheaper instant coffees. So
perhaps the song should have been called "There's a lot of awful
coffee in Brazil". :-)
Excuse my off-topic meanderings.
IMHO, (and I have no more say about these things than does the door) no
need for an 'excuse-me', lately we seem to have so little message
traffic here a few 'meanderings' just let everyone else know the list
has not had a sympa-thee hiccup and un$ubbed everyone again... <;-)
speaking of that, even the cooker list has slowed to a crawl
seems like all the mail lists I am on have decide to take a/the holiday.
