Hi All, I got myself a USB cordless VOIP phone.
I'd like to try and get it up and running on Linux... it runs ok on my Windows partition, but I'd like to try and get it running here, as I tend to spend all my time in Linux. Anyway, this is what Harddrake is reporting: Identification Vendor: innoMax Technology Ltd. Description: Cordless USB Phone Media class: Audio|Control Device Connection Bus: USB Bus PCI #: 1 PCI device #: 4 Vendor ID: 0x19af Device ID: 0x694d Sub vendor ID: 0x0000 Sub device ID: 0x0000 Misc Module: unknown And the Windows installation software lists it as an "eMicro EM28028". I've typed EM28028 into google, and it has bought up lots of stuff about AC97 codecs & freeBSD... but nothing that I can make any sense of! It's showing up nowhere else in Linux... do I have to make a device or something? I've noticed on shutdown, that the usb-audio module is shutting down, or similar, which hasnt happened prior to plugging the phone in! Can anyone offer any advice?
