I did as you suggested but now I'm staring at a blue screen and my
finger is worn out from pressing the reset button every ten minutes.
Is this normal? Is yours the same?

As some on this list already know, I have ME - Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.

I just find it fascinating that Microsoft named an operating system after this illness - Windows ME seems to produce the same sort of symptoms on computers as ME does in humans, and I often feel that I have lost all my files, crashed completely, and could do with having my reset button pressed repeatedly!

So, yes, the symptoms you are experiencing are absolutely normal for both varieties of ME :-)
