> Can someone explain how to do it step by step pls? That could get pretty lengthy ;-) What you've got there is a source rpm, not packaged yet. You need to build it with 'rpm --rebuild amsn-0.94-3mdk.src.rpm', but your best bet is to see first if it's available as a pre-built package. >From a console (assuming you have all of your sources configured, ie. main, contrib, plf, etc.) do 'urpmi amsn'. See man urpmi for more, and this: http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/ Now, from what I can see here, also on 2006, you should be good to go: [EMAIL PROTECTED] joehill]# urpmi --test amsn http://gulus.usherbrooke.ca/pub/distro/Mandrakelinux/official/2006.0/i586/media/contrib/amsn-0.94-3mdk.i586.rpm installing amsn-0.94-3mdk.i586.rpm from /var/cache/urpmi/rpms Preparing... ############################################# Installation is possible :-) -- JoeHill / RLU #282046 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Professor: Those delightful birds with their chirp chirp chirp and their tweet tweet splat. ____________________________________________________ Want to buy your Pack or Services from Mandriva?
