You can do it e.g. with mplayer like this: mplayer -playlist http://metrosdachurch.org/festival2007/The\ Blue\ Stone.m3u -dumpstream -dumpfile /home/<user>/blue_stone.mp3 -vc dummy -vo null ; see: http://grimthing.com/archives/2004/05/20/recording-streaming-audio-with-mplayer/ It i also possible to listen to t as a radiostrem via amarok. Don't know if you can record it. I used to know a trick to record the sound straight from he sound device (/dev/dsp) but i lost it.....
