your MBR - Master Boot Record was written over by windows - 
happened to me last week.

reinstall your bootloader - grub or lilo.

bring up linux with a cd and then use the grub or lilo editor 
to get the original config file for the appropriate one you used and then  
rewrite the MBR.

I do not know the complete steps so google it.
