I'm in slightly trouble because of Labview6 for Linux.
I'm using Suse 7.2, Kernel 2.4.4, xf86Rev.4.

I wasn't able to get Labview (object centred graphical
development environment mainly used at lab environment)
work. But one time it suddenly started up...later it again
didn't anymore.
I managed to find out it worked because I just restarted
X11 using changed parameters (I used SaX2 for the job).
Anytime I change screendepth to something different,
labview works...after strg, alt backs it again doesn't:-((.
After Reboot it doesn't work, too.

The Error Reported is BadDrawable...
The bug probably is inside Labview, but now my question
for a workaround:

How to simmulate the changing by hand without the need
of calling SAX by hand?

Thanks in advance!
