Hello *,
I am attempting to get X running on an IBM ThinkPad i1200 (model 1171)
without much success. I think I do not have my ModeLines correct.
Using XF86Set up I am able to get X to start but it turns the display
to gibberish and I need to reboot to correct it.
Using some example XF86Config files I found on the net for ThinkPads
with different cards, I can get X to probe the video card (which shows
that it is using a Trident TGUI9429Dgi chipset) but it dies complaining
"There is no mode definition named "1024x768" but there is a ModeLine
"1024x768".
Can anyone help with some suggestions or maybe even a config file?
