I found a way to do this....seems X comes with the ability. You press ctrl-shift-numlock to turn it on/off. But according to the docs, it times out after a while, which isn't good... so i need to figure out a way within a QT program, to send this keyboard ctrl-shift-numlock code to X, and also how to determine if its on or not...oh boy _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
