[Newbie]xmodmap

I seem to be having problems with xmodmap. I'm try to make one key = key1 
key 2 key 3. example. I want Z to = Right Down A.
When ever i run xmodmap -e keycode 52 = Right Down A. it just makes z= down 
Z=right. 


btw this is for xmame is anyone wants to know :)
