I have updated the XF86Config file that I used for my ATI XPert 2000 video card. I've also moved to kernel 2.4.9 and Slackware 8. You can get my config files here: http://www.goingware.com/linux/configs/bjarne/index.html DRI worked both with Slackware 8 out of the box with this config file, and with my 2.4.9 kernel build using the drm modules from the http://dri.sourceforge.net/ CVS. I get about 660 FPS from glxgears. Maybe this can help you get DRI working with your ATI. Also I'm using the Rage128 framebuffer driver with the nice Sun console fonts. I've volunteered to help get DRI working with Mach64. In my case, my Compaq Presario 1800T laptop uses the Rage Pro LT, which is a Mach64 chip. The DRI developers have been working on it but haven't gotten too far yet, it just locks up their machines. I haven't done anything yet to contribute but hope to do so. The first step was getting it to work on my XPert 2000. Mike -- Michael D.
