I'm running xfree86 4.1.0-6 and debian gnu/linux unstable.
Here's the problem:
When I turn the computer on (or any time I enter the default gui runlevel) I
get a message saying "Not starting K Display Manager (kdm); it is not the
default display manager."
well, that's not so bad: all I have to do is login as myself at the text
prompt, and then run startx, but I'd like to have a gui login, as well.
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xinit/xinitrc is attached...
any ideas?
