[Newbie]Xv

How does one get Xv running? (not the viewer).

xpdyinfo said my card supported it, though during my many tweaks, I
somehow lost xpdyinfo.

I'm trying to optimize my display so that XINE will stop losing 50% of my
frames.

Help me ask the question if I haven't asked it right?
