Check whether you have two sections layout and two
sections screen (one should suffice with the *right*
settings.
Check whether you have a DefaultDepth in the screen
section and whether it is set to the depth you would
like to have... If there is no such line then put one
for instance:
DefaultDepth 24
note that in some cases DRI only works with 16 or 32
depth
